BEREAVEMENT GROUP
This small group assists the grieving family with the preparation of the liturgy through personal consultation, the preparation of booklets for the funeral and general setting up and assistance at the church.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL
This group answers calls for assistance from people living within the Parish boundaries.  Confidentiality and respect for privacy are paramount.  Most requests are for food and sometimes for assistance in dealing with difficult financial situations.  Requests are often for temporary assistance during a crisis - loss of employment, marriage breakdown, illness etc.  The Oakleigh depot of St Vincent De Paul (9568 1034) can also assist with furniture, bedding etc. in the case of refugees settling in Australia or other similar circumstances.

THIRD WORLD INTEREST GROUP (TWIG)
TWIG was formed on 15th August, 1978 as a committee within Holy Saviour Parish after the Parish Pastoral Council decided that there was a need to have an outreach group who would assist the newly formed Parish to form relationships with what was then called “The Third World” and social justice issues in general.  Introducing TWIG
