NFP and FLE accredited teachers are bound by a code of ethics which they sign. This includes the specific stipulation that they "will respect absolutely the client's right to confidentiality".
ACNFP centres are obliged to keep client records for three years. Case notes are filed securely and not disclosed without client permission.
When statistics are provided to the Natural Family Planning Program, the specific client details (eg. names) are not disclosed.
