Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM) recently revised and refreshed their offerings and support for Catechists (i.e. those working in parishes in the delivery of sacramental preparation and religious education classes for catholic children beyond the parish primary school).

The Archbishop's Office for Evangelisation continues to work collaboratively with the CEM in the shared mission of evangelisation for all and the commitment to support and form Catechist leaders at the local level.

We encourage catechists to visit the new webpage ‘Catechist Central’ which provides a wealth of information, guidance and support for this vitally important parish ministry. Please take the time to explore this valuable resource and when possible utilise the rich opportunities for formation in this ministry.
