It’s the mix and unexpectedness and high quality of the images which has captured people’s imaginations. This travelling resource consists of 24 framed photos, each accompanied by a comment from each contributor about why they chose this photo as an image of "the Eucharist in their lives".
Capturing imaginations around Melbourne
The exhibit has now visited several parishes around Melbourne, including Fitzroy, Berwick, Malvern and King's Park. It was also used as part of the Year of Grace, as a way of contemplating the face of Christ. As one organiser shared, "Over the first weekend of March ‘Love’s Body’ was on display at St Michael’s Berwick as part of an Expo on parish ministries (a 'who’s doing what' in the parish). It then remained up on the Monday so schoolchildren might have a look at it. The weekend was a great success and lots of people spent time looking at the photos, children too.’ It’s a reminder of the different ways in which parishes might make use of ‘Love’s Body.’
