Keynote: Check Your Pulse - Mimi Lee
It’s time to check your pulse! Almost ten months into the year and the pulse of your excitement, and sense of possibility in your ministry may be dwindling. This keynote will challenge you to resuscitate your vision and ideas, but perhaps more crucially, reconnect you with your wildly important “why” and the fundamental pillars that sustain you in your life and mission.
Interview: Archbishop Peter A. Comensoli
Since his installation as the Archbishop of Melbourne in August last year, Archbishop Peter has devoted great energy and time to encouraging, prioritising and empowering young Catholics. Earlier this year, he accompanied 40 young adults to World Youth Day Panama and has since supported young people from our archdiocese to travel to Perth to attend the Australian Catholic Youth Festival. All of this leads us to ask: Why does our Archbishop want us to feel like valued, contributing members of the Church? Where does his interest in youth come from? Well, this afternoon keynote will be an opportunity to hear from the Archbishop himself and to gain an insight into why he sees young people as a pivotal part of the church today. There will also be an opportunity to pose questions of your own!
