Pilgrimage to St Aloysius

Pilgrimage to St Aloysius
On the 30th June, the parish of St Aloysius Caulfield and St Anthony’s Glen Huntly teamed up with Young Men of God and the Archdiocesan Office for Youth to hold a pilgrimage. The event commemorated the 450 year jubilee of St Aloysius - the Patron Saint of Youth. The rain and cold didn’t stop more than 40 people from gathering at St Anthony’s for a BBQ and confessions, before setting off on the walk to St Aloysius parish. It was a great pilgrimage with prayers and hymns sung along the way. It concluded with Benediction and light refreshments in the hall. All the pilgrims had a great time and miraculously, the rain disappeared for the pilgrimage part of the day. All in all it was a great way to celebrate the jubilee year of St Aloysius.
