‘Better Together’ Rally - Youth United Melbourne (YUM)

Youth United Melbourne (YUM) – ‘Better Together’ Rally
Cassie Forester

Saturday 28th April was an important day for all involved in Youth United Melbourne (YUM). This day saw history being made with the launch of our very first event – the ‘Better Together’ Rally.

With over 50 participants from many different youth groups, this rally achieved exactly what YUM had set out to accomplish: Provide an event for our youth to come to where they could meet others from different parishes and schools, and join together with their love and joy for God.

With the epic Josh Rajasingam as our MC, there were smiles and laughter throughout our event and in particular our opening games. Our YUM band provided an incredible praise and worship set to engage our youth and bring them closer to God.

The highlight for most, however, was the phenomenal Sam Clear who captivated all at the event with his inspiring presentation.

Overall, the participants of the rally had a fantastic night, and we look forward to seeing them again at our next event.
