Mission Organisations gather for the Archdiocesan Office for Youth’s 2016 Mission Expo!

Last Thursday over 150 people gathered at Mission Expo to learn more about some of the many organisations operating in our Archdiocese and beyond. The expo not only provided an opportunity for young adults to learn more about organisations they could volunteer with, but also enabled organisations to meet each other and network. There was a strong sense of how the body of Christ – represented by so many different charisms and areas of mission focus present on the night– works within God’s bigger mission.

This is the third time the AOY has organised Mission Expo for young adults. This year the theme “Mercy in Action” was drawn from the recently concluded Year of Mercy and encouraged the seeds of the year to take root in ongoing commitments by young people.
