LAST DAY to make a submission!
By January this year, 69,701 people had responded to the Plenary Council. Ash Wednesday (6 March) represents the conclusion of this first stage of the preparation toward the Plenary Council: the Listening and Dialogue phase.
We now enter the last week of the Listening and Dialogue phase and there is still time to contribute your story, your experience of faith, Church and God in your life to help to shape the Plenary Council agenda.
The Listening and Dialogue stage will close on Ash Wednesday (March 6th, 2019).
Lent provides an opportunity for prayerful preparation for Easter, and at Pentecost (June 9th) the Listening and Discernment stage of the journey to the Plenary Council 2020 will commence and the national themes for discernment which have emerged from the Listening and Dialogue responses will be announced.
Parish resources to assist with Lent preparation can be found via the Archbishop's Office for Evangelisation website.
In the meantime, if you have any queries regarding the journey to the Plenary Council 2020 please contact Cathy Jenkins at the Archbishop’s Office for Evangelisation:
