What am I to do with the rest of my life?
How am I going to serve God and my fellow man?
How am I going to use the gifts and talents he has given me for greatest effect in this world?
What is God calling me to do?
Finding the Way, a 25-minute documentary that follows three young Australian Pilgrims as they walk the Camino de Santiago, is an exciting new project by Catholic Vocations to help schools and youth groups start to address these questions with young people. In 2014, with only what they could carry on their backs, and a go-pro camera, Fr Nicholas Pearce, Sharon Varney and Ben Van Styn joined other pilgrims from all over the world on the 800km pilgrimage route to the tomb of St James in the north of Spain.
Finding the Way follows their progress and, through a series of interviews on their return, begins to unpack this life-changing walk, and help open up some of the deeper issues of faith, vocation and life choices. Produced to be viewed as part of the workshop on Courageous Discipleship, schools, parishes, movements and youth groups can organise a screening at your local venue by contacting the Vocations Office.
